Custom Die-Cut Decals
A decal shaped exactly like your logo reads as merchandise, not marketing. Die-cut decals are contour-cut to your artwork — no square background, nothing extra, just the brand.
They hand out clean, apply clean, and look custom because they are. Vector artwork cuts sharpest; if you only have a flat image, add design help and we build the cut line for you.

Material guidance
Available in gloss or matte 5-year vinyl. Gloss pops on gear and vehicles; matte reads premium on packaging and laptops and avoids glare in photos.
Artwork requirements
PDF, EPS, AI, PNG, or JPG up to 50 MB. Vector files print sharpest at large sizes; raster files should be 150 DPI at final print size. Full specs on the artwork guidelines page. Not sure your file works? Upload it anyway — we check every file before proofing, and design help is $45.00 flat if it needs cleanup.

What makes a decal "die-cut"
A die-cut decal is cut through both the vinyl and its backing paper, following the outline of your artwork. The result is a decal that IS the shape of your logo — no square background, no clear margin, nothing but design. It is the premium presentation for logo decals: what you hand someone is already the exact shape that ends up on their laptop, toolbox, or rear window.
The trade-show giveaway that survives the trip home
Die-cut logo decals are the standard giveaway at trade shows and product launches for a reason: they read as merchandise, not marketing. The economics favor volume — quantity discounts deepen at every tier, and at 100+ pieces the per-piece price is at its lowest, which is exactly the range where giveaway boxes get filled. Price your quantity in the calculator and watch the per-piece number drop as you add.
Getting the cut line right
The cut line is what separates a crisp die-cut decal from a ragged one. From vector art we cut the true edges of your design. From a PNG or JPG we auto-trace clean silhouettes — logos with simple outlines trace perfectly — and for complex artwork the flat design-help fee gets a hand-built cut path. Whichever route your file takes, the proof shows the exact cut line before the plotter touches vinyl.
Sizing die-cut decals for where they land
Laptop lids carry 2–4″ decals comfortably; water bottles want 2–3″; car windows read from 4–6″; toolboxes and cases take 6–8″. If the decal is a giveaway, err small — people place small decals more willingly than large ones. The presets on this page map to those targets, and the calculator takes any size in between.

Die-Cut Decals — common questions
What is the difference between die-cut and kiss-cut?
Die-cut goes through the vinyl AND the backing paper, so the whole decal is shaped like your design. Kiss-cut only cuts the vinyl layer, leaving a square backing that is easier to peel — better for handing out.
How complex can the cut shape be?
Most logo outlines cut fine. Extremely fine details — thin script tails, sub-⅛″ gaps — get simplified slightly on the cut line, and we show you exactly how on the proof before printing.
Do I need vector art for die-cut decals?
Vector (AI, EPS, PDF) is ideal because the cut path follows real edges. From a PNG or JPG we can trace the outline — automatic for simple shapes, or via the flat design-help fee for complex ones.
What is the minimum size?
We recommend 2″ on the shortest side for die-cut shapes — smaller than that, weeding and application get fiddly. Need hundreds of tiny decals? Kiss-cut on sheets is the better product.
Can one order include multiple shapes?
One design per calculator order so each gets its own proof and cut file. For multiple designs in one production run, use the quote form — ganged runs price better than separate orders.
Do die-cut decals come with transfer tape?
Solid shapes ship ready to peel and stick. Multi-part designs (letters and separated elements) ship pre-masked with transfer tape so the layout stays intact — we choose based on your artwork and note it on the proof.
