1. Who we are
Manhattan Decals ("we," "us") sells custom-printed decals through manhattandecals.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
2. Orders and proofs
Every order receives a free digital proof, reviewable in your account and by email. Production begins only after we have both your payment and your written approval of the proof — given through the approval button in your account or by email reply; both are recorded with a timestamp. Production times quoted on the site run from that point. By approving a proof you confirm the size, material, quantity, spelling, and layout are correct — the approved proof is the specification we print against.
3. Custom products — all sales final
Decals are made to your specification and cannot be restocked. All sales are final after proof approval. If your order arrives damaged or materially different from the approved proof, email support@manhattandecals.com within 14 days of delivery with photos and we will reprint it at no charge. Reprint is the exclusive remedy for defective orders.
4. Your artwork
You must own or have rights to reproduce any artwork you upload, and you retain ownership of it. You grant us a license to use your artwork solely to produce your order. We may decline any order containing content we reasonably believe is unlawful or infringing. Design help covers cleanup and layout of artwork you supply; it does not include creating original designs, and the resulting production files remain our working files.
5. Color and materials
On-screen colors and printed colors can differ. We flag expected color shifts on your proof, but exact color matching is not guaranteed unless agreed in writing on a quoted job. Material durability figures (e.g., "5-year vinyl") are manufacturer ratings under normal conditions, not a warranty.
6. Application is on you
Decals ship ready to apply, with instructions. We do not provide installation, and we are not responsible for damage to surfaces or for decals damaged during application. Follow the application instructions and test removable products on an inconspicuous area first.
7. Shipping
Orders ship UPS Ground to US addresses. Transit times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to the carrier at pickup; we will assist with carrier claims for lost or damaged shipments.
8. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's hosted checkout. We never receive or store your card details.
9. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including missed deadlines or lost business.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version posted at order time applies to your order. Questions: support@manhattandecals.com.
