Kiss-cut or die-cut — which should I order?
Handing them out or mailing them: kiss-cut. Applying them yourself to gear and vehicles where you want zero border on the backing: die-cut. The applied decal looks the same either way.
Why is kiss-cut better for intricate designs?
The intact backing supports thin details while peeling, so fine tails and small gaps survive. Die-cutting the same design risks tearing on the peel.
Can you leave a printed border around my design?
Yes — a small printed margin (full-bleed color or white) around the artwork is standard practice and free. Tell us the look you want and we set it up on the proof.
Do kiss-cut decals come on sheets or singles?
Singles by default — each decal on its own square backing. Multiple designs ganged onto sheets is a quote job; mention it on the quote form and we lay it out.
What backing shape do kiss-cut decals ship with?
A square or rectangle backing with a small margin around your design by default. Want the backing trimmed to a specific shape or size (e.g., to fit an envelope), note it in your order.
Can I write on the backing?
Yes — the liner takes ballpoint and marker, which is handy for hand-numbered drops and personalized handouts.
